Formación

  • Advanced data analytics and problem-solving capabilities.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Rewards Excellence Specialist to join the US Rewards Excellence team in our mission of driving process improvement and superior employee experience.
This position is located in the Novartis Corporate Center in Mexico City, which is one of six strategically located corporate centers established by Novartis globally. It brings together expert capabilities and talent across functionalities, that drives the business forward. It is home to 1000+ associates who work to deliver on the Novartis purpose of reimagining medicine to improve and extend people’s lives.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities :

  • As the Rewards Specialist, this role will enable Novartis to hire and retain talent through the quality and timely delivery of core compensation process and consulting for the US. Supports job evaluation, benchmarking, offers, and salary cycle activities, as well as related training, education & insights.
  • Primary Point of contact for the offer process for respective client group. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): buy-out calculations for Short Term Incentive, equity and other compensation items, secure adherence to rewards governance, review and track offers outside the rewards guideline, providing recommendations or escalating to the Rewards Business Partner where necessary, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Supports core Benchmarking and year-end activities for assigned client group including (but not limited to): survey participation, analysis and submissions, propose salary structure and adjustments to the business based on survey data and engagement with country stakeholders to understand current hiring and retention activities, challenges and requirements.
  • Performs job evaluations within agreed timelines (including maintenance of the current job evaluation system) for the assigned job functions and acts as a subject matter expert on position evaluation topics.
  • Supports Rewards Business Partner on compensation activities or projects for a client group as applicable, by conducting data analysis and providing information to client inquires.
  • Supports the delivery of training to stakeholders on core compensation processes, ensuring Talent Acquisition and People Partner teams in relevant client groups understand roles, responsibilities and governance for core compensation processes.
  • Participates in ensuring alignment on rewards practices across US Business Units.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, engineering and related areas.
  • Work Experience 2 to 5 years of Human Resources Experience (Preferably in Compensation & Benefits)
  • Basic understanding of compensation elements in an organizational context
  • Advanced level in Excell and data analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Languages:Fluent in Spanish and English.
