Job Purpose

• Executes and follows up complex Shipping operation/coordination

Job Description

• Provides transport cost and man-hours estimation and reports, monitors budget vs. project execution
• Defines methods and means of Transportation in agreement with Project Procurement Manager
• Plans and revises shipping strategy
• Plans and supervises handling operations for “special items”
• Prepares and issues specifications, Invitation to Bid, Negotiation documents, and Service Orders
• Defines and assigns to Forwarding Agents any shipments out of Service Orders
• Contacts suppliers and coordinates pick-up operations, based on the loading/shipping plan for each shipment
• Issues or coordinates the issue of import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary
• Issues and updates the Shipping Notice to the various parties involved and sends a separate set of shipping documents to the field
• Improves and/or modifies standard procedures

You are meant for this job if:

• 5 to 7 years of experience on management and coordination of complex shipping schemes
• Professional English Required.
