A leading manufacturing company in Monterrey is hiring an HPDC Tooling Leader to drive product development and technical support for their operations. In this role, you will manage a skilled team, oversee tooling design, and optimize processes while fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Formación

  • Experience in CAD design tools like Catia and NX.
  • Deep understanding of the toolmaking process and die cast operations.
  • Familiarity with thermal and flow simulation software.

Responsabilidades

HPDC Tooling Leader

Objective

The position is needed for both product development and technical support of the HPDC tooling operation in Monterrey.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of die cast tools and equipment used in the die cast manufacturing process.
  2. Managing a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality tooling.
  3. Creating and implementing tooling designs for new products, optimizing existing tooling for quality and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support development.
  4. Applying HPDC process engineering knowledge.

Position Requirements

  • Skilled in the use of CAD design tools such as Catia and NX for tool design.
  • Understanding of the toolmaking process including tool steel selection and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of large high pressure die cast machines (1600 to 4500 ton and larger).
  • Understanding of simulation software (thermal and flow) used to analyze the casting process.
