A fast-growing creative operations company is seeking a social-native video editor who understands Gen Z culture and excels in creating engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok and Reels. The ideal candidate will deliver multiple high-quality clips weekly and collaborate with a creative team on innovative projects. We were looking for a social-native video editor; someone who lives on TikTok and Reels, understands Gen Z culture, and instinctively gets the tone, pacing, and strategy behind content that actually performs. Ideally, you're not just an editor, but also a content creator yourself; someone who experiments with trends, understands what hooks an audience, and knows how to make content feel fresh, relevant, and platform-native.
You should be obsessed with how social formats evolve, especially founder-led and thought-leadership content. This isn't about basic reels or chasing trends. It's about knowing what works, why it works, and how to turn that into clean, compelling edits that feel both intentional and culturally fluent. We're looking for someone bold in their creative decisions, someone who's not afraid to push limits, experiment with structure, and bring a distinct point of view to every video.
If you follow and understand creators like Wisdom Kaye, Steven Bartlett, Alex Hormozi, MrBeast, Jay Shetty, eugbrandstrat, madison.utendahl, Codie Sanchez, Scott Galloway, theburnouts or Sophia Amoruso; and you're tuned into how artists like Dua Lipa, Rosalía, Charli XCX shape culture through visuals, rhythm, and style, you're likely aligned with the creative direction we're aiming for.
These creators aren't just references; their content, tone, and editorial structure represent the standard we want to reflect and evolve. You don't need to follow them all, but you should understand why their content performs, the editorial frameworks behind it, and how they build influence through story, rhythm, and consistency. If you can translate that level of creativity, precision, and cultural awareness into your edits, then you might be the editor we're looking for.
We're not looking for a basic editor.
