Overview

Join Ecolab’s industry leading Food & Beverage team as a Service Technician. We are increasing food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability and boosting operational efficiency. We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers. This is an entry level sales position responsible for selling Food & Beverage products/services by interacting with established customers and developing new sales prospects.

What You Will Do
  • Execute Service strategy surveys, process checks and reporting through:
    • Consulting with customer on chemical, technical & application issues as well as optimization of systems
    • Execute field trials, reporting & training
    • Establish, verify & document hygiene plans and their parameters through regular customer visits
  • Assist customer needs
  • Install and repair equipment at the customer's plant
  • Ensure equipment maintenance goals established by the customer
  • Support introduction of new programs and service concepts to customers
  • Achieve monthly safety metrics and input safety data into the company's system
  • Establish new ways of improving service
  • Provide recommendations related to safety standards and protocol
Position Details
  • Candidate must reside in: CITIES/AREA
  • Route territory will include: CITIES/AREA
  • Work week and shift: DETAILS (including weekend rotation, if applicable)
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Experience working in a technical service role
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Physical Demands
  • Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to XX kilograms chest high
  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces, freezing conditions and hot conditions
  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge/aptitude in electricity, mechanical systems
  • 2 year degree in mechanical, electrical or electromechanical fields (or similar) or university student of engineering
  • 2 years of experience in technical roles in Food & Beverages plants
  • Exposure to MS Office including Excel and Word
  • Willingness and ability to work off hours
