A reputable engineering company located in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Technician to manage the disassembly and assembly of engines and parts. This full-time, permanent position requires attention to safety rules and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should be capable of working in a noisy environment and effectively managing multiple tasks. Success in this role involves strict adherence to quality standards and process compliance.

Formación

  • First experience in the metal mechanic industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of safety and quality requirements.

Job Description

Responsible for executing the disassembly/assembly operations of engines/sub-modules/parts. The Technician carries out duties according to safety rules, quality requirements for the customers, and applicable regulations. The Technician performs engine maintenance tasks on time and respects task planning. The Technician ensures procedure adherence, correct part handling, correct tool usage, accurate time clocking, and proposes improvements in the area and overall site.

Complementary Description
  • Respect safety rules and instructions at all times in the working area and on the site. Alert in case of deviation.
  • Perform disassembly/assembly processes in line with customer requirements, working documents, and instructions, and regulations. Ensure adherence to instructions.
  • Place special care on part and assembly handling; segregate, identify, and protect parts according to requirements. Alert in case of anomalies on parts/assemblies.
  • Trace executed tasks on supplied documents. Validate that information is captured correctly to avoid exporting defects.
  • Use tools and tooling correctly. Validate calibration dates and alert in case of deviation.
  • Register works performed on the system and declare time spent on activities precisely.
  • Achieve time standards for programmed activities and adhere to the production program.
  • Keep the work area clean and ordered at all times.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by identifying and implementing improvement ideas in the working area and site.
Job Requirements

TSU or High School diploma in physics-mathematical area, with interest in metal mechanic industry, working with tools and measuring instruments. Elevated sense of responsibility and process and procedure compliance. Ability to develop several tasks at the same time in a noisy environment.
