Overview

Join our dynamic engineering team as a Java Tech Lead, where you’ll drive the design and development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in Java application development
• 3+ years of experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Technical role
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), Spring / Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands‑on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and version control systems (Git)
• Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalability
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, React) is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience working with distributed or global teams
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus)
• Relevant certifications in Java, Cloud, or Architecture

Location & Working Mode

Location: Mexico City (CDMX) & Guadalajara – Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)
