A leading automation company is seeking a qualified candidate for a role focusing on welding processes and automation. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in mechanical and electrical technology and will be responsible for system integration, training, and technical support. Candidates should be comfortable traveling extensively and have strong communication skills. This position emphasizes the importance of independence while supporting a customer-focused approach in a diverse cultural environment.
Expert-level knowledge of welding processes, including GTAW and GMAW.
Expert-level understanding of welding automation products.
Expert-level proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
Skilled in operating and programming automation control systems.
Experienced in mechanized welding using system controls and standard components.
Responsible for technical verification of welding, electrical, mechanical, and software installations; providing production support; and developing parameters for mechanized welding systems.
Works independently with clients to implement system integrations at customer sites.
Performs welding trials and demonstrations.
Organizes and conducts training sessions; develops training materials.
Participates in and supports events such as trade fairs and seminars.
Provides technical support via email and phone for troubleshooting and inquiries.
Supports product, system, and process market launch activities.
Submits accurate and complete weekly service reports.
Trains machine operators and maintenance personnel.
Reports to Sales Director
Promotes and supports the “Fronius Way” philosophy.
Valid passport
Willing to travel up to 70% outside of home base.
Flexible with working hours and tasks to meet customer requirements.
Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Technology
Minimum of five (5) years of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance experience.
Proficient knowledge in electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic (or equivalent software programming).
Strong ability to identify technical issues, analyze root causes, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Customer‑oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrates the ability to meet objectives and goals.
Detail‑oriented and thorough in all tasks.
Comfortable working in a culturally diverse environment.
