Job Description: The position covers the leader of the team for Product Engineering in Audio, Video Communication products. The TL will be covering the following activities:
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical mentor the team, hire and onboard new joiners for the Mechanical and Hardware teams.
- Conduct workshops with team and Lead design proposals for new business opportunities outlining BOSCH design solutions to customer requirements.
- Develop required infrastructure / lab for the team to perform the project delivery
- Track and Report KPI
- Part of the project team.
- Conduct career dialogues with the associates.
- Competency development owner for the group.
- First level escalation with External Customers / internal stakeholders.
- Ensure to obtain PO ontime and monthly billing.
- Planisware, Promise and risk analysis.
- Problem solving, continuous improvement & cost reduction activities.
- Participation on team strategy along with partner.
- Communicate with BOSCH core engineering on product direction, design standards & customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate from Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering degrees.
- Nice to have SW back ground
- 10+ years of experience on product design from mechanics (concept generation, CAD modeling, drawing creation and releases) or electronics (requirements, layout definition, design based on EMC and thermal management)
- Manufacturing plant support experience as product responsible.
- Experience evaluating and selecting between different production processes to provide best cost/benefit option.
- Experience managing engineering changes using tools such as DRBFM and DFMEA.
- Nice to have: Communication protocols background (from mechanical or hardware side).
- English speaking
