A leading healthcare supplier in Nuevo Laredo is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee Accounts Payables and Costing Area. The role involves data analysis, preparing audits, and managing the company balance sheet. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience and be bilingual in Spanish and English. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to financial strategies and compliance within a dedicated team.

Formación

  • 3-5 years of extensive experience in related areas.
  • Bilingual (Spanish – English +90%).

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise Accounts Payables and Costing Area.

  • Develop and analyze standard cost.
  • Prepare Audit Reports.
  • Manage the company balance sheet and accounting books.
  • Coordinate End of month/Year/Quarterly processes.

Job Description

Accounting Supervisor will be on charge to supervise Accounts Payables and Costing Area, will colaborate with other accountants and financial staff in the company to provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads who establish goals and budgets for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS
  • Collecting and analyzing data about company’s operational cost.
  • Developing and analyzing standard cost.
  • Review GL Account reconciliation.
  • Preparing Audit Reports.
  • Recommending changes to the company’s processed and polices to reduce cost and maximize profit.
  • Managing the company balance sheet and accounting books.
  • Analyze standard cost in a monthly basis.
  • Analysis of PPV variances.
  • Analysis of Fixed Cost.
  • Coordinate End of month / Year / Quaterly process.
  • Variance analysis for variable and fixed costs.
  • Assist on Internal / External audits requirements.
  • Review Cost roll process.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations.
Communications
  • Ensure effective communication of changes related to their responsibilities.
  • Timely notification of situations that require immediate attention.
  • Constant communication with the rest of the members of the department and other areas.
Employee Relationship
  • Make sure to maintain a professional and cordial relationship with members of the department, company, suppliers and customers.
Health and Safety
  • Establish the necessary measures to comply with the information security, industrial and personal security procedures that the company establishes.
Quality Systems

Follow the procedures established by the quality department and comply with the company’s quality system training.

EDUCATION/ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
- 3-5 years of extensive experience in related areas.
- Bilingual (Spanish – English +90%).

Academic requierements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or similar.
