A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking an STA Resident Engineer for their Hermosillo Plant. The candidate will work on supplier quality, focusing on warranty and internal manufacturing quality indicators. Key responsibilities include improving supplier performance and acting as a liaison between the plant and supplier chain organizations. This role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 7-8 years in supplier quality, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Supplier Quality is essential.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Availability for domestic and international travel is mandatory.

Overview

STA Resident engineer to support Hermosillo Plant in all around suppliers for Quality and Delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 7–8 years of experience in Supplier Quality (essential).
• Languages: Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Travel: Availability for domestic and international travel (Visa required).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in applying Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis tools.
• Certification: Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

STA Resident is assigned to work on one or two vehicle functions and is responsible for improving Supplier Quality performance on warranty and internal manufacturing Ford Plant quality indicators, and supporting all Plant Disruption around suppliers responsibilities; will be a "link" between Hermosillo Plant and our Supplier Chain organization (STA Site, Suppliers, Buyers, etc..) providing to all these people the required technical assistance.
