We’re looking for a Sr Systems Integrator - Mexico City. This role is highly dynamic, diverse, and challenging — encompassing both pre- and post-sales technical, implementation and business activities. It is responsible for successful integration and validation of Entrust solutions. It includes driving towards on-schedule delivery within customer environments, while meeting requirements including security and performance standards. It is internally and externally focused, including coordination with various Entrust teams while demonstrating value to the customer — developing customer rapport and adoption while becoming a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
- Assist system architects when needed and provide leadership among delivery team members on architecture and design to meet infrastructure and solution requirements.
- Provide leadership with infrastructure and internal deployment of Entrust products and processes around IT compliance, lab infrastructure, etc.
- Work independently or with integration/development team members on complex system configuration tasks.
- Assist project managers and/or technical sales in customer calls to refine technical requirements and/or assist with technical deep-dives.
- Conduct pre-installation validation to discover and resolve issues during lab validation.
- Participate in remote or on-site installation, integration, configuration, and validation of Entrust solutions including integration with third-party products.
- Educate and provide knowledge transfer and/or documentation to ensure customers become self-sufficient. Generally involves conducting solution training leveraging standard or custom training documents.
- Document solution deployment details for technical support handoff, and lessons learned for process and product improvement, and lead colleagues in these initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues in servers, networks, TCP/IP, RS-232, Microsoft/Linux OS, databases, hardware, fault-tolerance, availability, and scalability. Serve as a team leader towards resolution of challenging issues.
- Provide escalation troubleshooting, acting as liaison with customer and support teams.
- Assist or lead resolution of production PKI and related-product deployment issues.
- Learn product integration hooks or scripting to assist with integration and customization.
- Assist or provide specification of hardware and logistics around shipment and tracking of solution products.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant corporate or commercial experience as a Sr Systems or Sr Support Engineer or related.
- Card personalization industry experience, including smart card (EMV at minimum).
- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management.
- Experience working with Hardware Security Modules from Entrust, SafeNet or Thales.
- Experience in setup, administration, networking and common services such as Active Directory, DNS, WINS, and IIS.
- Competent programming and/or scripting experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, advanced batch, Python or PowerShell. Skilled in SQL query language and understanding of .NET architecture.
- Source control tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, or JFrog and collaboration/AI tools like Microsoft Teams, Copilot, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Oracle.
- Financial and Government sector experience. This involves providing leadership and coordination to Project Delivery team with large, often demanding customers.
- Helping coordinate and drive use of tools around Project Delivery tracking and documentation as part of process improvement.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% if necessary — 25% typical average based upon project deliverables.
- Cloud services such as AWS and Azure and Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, etc.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entrust product experience (Entrust Certificate Authority, Admin Services, Identity Enterprise, Identity as a Service, Secura, DPP or Adaptive Issuance).
- SCOM, SCCM, Endpoint Manager (Intune) or similar automated operations and delivery management platforms.
- Linux, XML/HTML, Eclipse, Apache/Tomcat, Java, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET programming.
- Security+ certification or basic understanding of Security DevOps.
- Database analysis, design, programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
