A leading automotive company located in Mexico City is seeking a candidate experienced in Wire Harness and procurement within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, advanced English proficiency, and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include building relationships across functions, handling supplier performance evaluations, and partnering with Program Managers to communicate requirements. Responsibilities

• Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships
• Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paint, electronics, etc.)
• Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
• Proven competence in negotiating skills
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Critical Skills

• Automotive industry experience
• Knowledge of procurement software
• Knowledge of materials management
• Capable of interpreting market data
• Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
• Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Advanced English
• 4 years Wire Harness experience
• Ability to work in competitive environment
• Proactiveness in leadership in their activities
• Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.
