A leading confectionery company is looking for a Sr Analyst HR Benefits to oversee retiree benefit programs and coordinate LTD coverage. This remote role based in Mexico requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration. Position title: Sr Analyst HR Benefits (Retirement Benefits Specialist)

Location: Remote in Mexico

English proficiency: B1+ (Intermediate or higher)

Role Overview

The HR Benefit Analyst is the main point of contact for benefit programs for retirees, LTD employees, COBRA coverage; partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors for invoices processing. The role is key for follow-up with the vendor for health-related benefits of retirees, while also providing guidance and support for employees that are retiring.

Accountabilities
  • Oversee the enrollment, eligibility verification, and ongoing support for retiree benefit programs, including medical, dental and vision.
  • Coordinate LTD coverage administration, liaising with employees, insurance carriers, benefit payments, and status changes.
  • Administer COBRA continuation coverage, including notification, eligibility tracking, enrollment processing, and communication with qualified beneficiaries.
  • Process vendor-provided invoices for timely approval and processing.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for retirees, LTD participants, and COBRA beneficiaries to address benefit-related inquiries and provide guidance on coverage, eligibility, and billing.
  • Manage retiree's marketplace insurance provider, escalating issues and ensuring accurate data sharing with vendor.
  • Tracking of LTD employees to ensure timely payment of benefits for coverage continuance in partnership with Leaves Team.
  • Process vendor invoices as needed, with proper coding according to business area and employee cost center.
  • Assist in retirement stage to employees (retirement kits and consultation) and provide support to COBRA users eligible employees.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience in benefits administration, with a focus on retiree, LTD, or COBRA programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
Experience & Education
  • Degree: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in benefits delivery
