As a Software Test Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the software applications developed by our Software Engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the highest quality standards and fulfills the requirements outlined in the development phase. Your role will involve designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring timely resolution to maintain project schedules. You will play a crucial role in driving innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive software applications.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand system requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance software quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 4+ years of experience in software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or .NET.
• Background in Windows application development.
