Forvis Mazars is seeking a Senior Transaction Services professional. We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Senior to join our growing Transaction Services team at Forvis Mazars Mexico. In this role, you will lead financial due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, helping clients assess opportunities and risks across various industries. You will work alongside our experienced professionals to deliver value‑added insights, structure transactions effectively, and support clients throughout the full lifecycle of a deal from initial evaluation to post‑acquisition integration.

The position involves close collaboration with international and local teams, meticulous Excel modeling, mentoring junior staff, and active participation in proposal development, client presentations, and business‑development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Analyze the financial performance and operational results of target companies.
  • Prepare Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and identify key diligence issues and value drivers.
  • Evaluate financial trends, normalize EBITDA, and identify potential post-transaction risks or synergies.
  • Lead client meetings, support executive discussions, and maintain communication throughout engagements.
  • Collaborate with international and local teams to deliver cross-border projects (U.S. and Mexico).
  • Develop robust Excel models for financial analysis and valuation purposes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Support partners and managers in proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to M&A and due diligence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial due diligence, M&A advisory, or Transaction Services (ideally in a consulting or Big 4 environment).
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proactive, client‑focused, and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience working with U.S. and/or international clients is highly desirable.
