Job Description

As a Senior Information Security Architect you will be responsible for both ensuring the safety of information systems assets, protecting systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction and also designing solutions in our company to strengthen security overall.

This also means analyzing information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures; resolving and / or performing follow through to architect, prevent and resolve all information security issues and questions; Implementing and administering information security controls using software and vendor security systems.

What You’ll Do

• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans for large‑scale network and cloud environments
• Architect, design, support, and deploy security‑focused solutions in our Private and Public Cloud
• Active monitoring and threat hunting, participate in incident handling, escalations, and response
• Define security requirements for and work with engineering teams to successfully deliver secure solutions for our customers
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field or 5+ years equivalent experience
• 5+ years' of Security architecture, and operations experience in enterprise and / or telecommunications environments
• Expert‑level knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP / IP, UDP, IPSEC, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)
• Deep familiarity with the range of internet‑facing threats and mitigation strategies (DDOS, anti‑phishing, anti‑malware, etc.)
• Familiarity with security posture, policy, and implementation of large‑scale public‑facing cloud and network infrastructure
• Familiarity with SecOps methods, tools, and practices within AWS
• Deep technical skill in computer science, software architecture, networking, and cloud computing
• A thorough understanding of cloud‑native architectures, containers, container orchestration, K8s, microservices and service oriented architecture design patterns, DevOps culture and practices, and operational best practices for security in the network and in the cloud
