This role is responsible for lead the provision of engineering expertise in specialist technology engineering areas which may include but is not limited to data engineering, security engineering, front-end engineering, user experience engineering. Includes Infrastructure domain specialists such as Storage, Network, Mainframe, etc.
Provide extensive experience in designing and developing of significant applications with considerable experience in leadership. Continuously contribute to code and review other's code for best practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard. Write and own standards, define product change strategies and to reach identified visions. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in an area such as devOps, security, accessibility, agile, production governance etc. Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data. Create and contribute to solutions designs and make judgement calls about adoption of tech debt. Own delivery of a product (from requirement to production).
Provide value during production incidents even for things that they have not necessarily been involved in coding and Chair retros across different teams. Break down a programme of work into manageable deliveries and step into the Production Support Management (PSM) role. Build trusted relationships with the business and maintain a good appreciation of the business domain they work in. Communicate clearly, acting as liaison between engineering teams and senior management, translating technical details into business strategies. Develop business cases benefits of addressing technical debt / platform improvement. Promote continuous improvement for self and team. Remove impediments to team's productivity and direct collaboration with Product Owners without the involvement of intermediary roles such as architects, technical leads, business analysts, scrum master and project managers.
Qualifications Required : Mandatory : IT engineering career+5 years on the role or similar roles of leadership. Capabilities : High values and engagement, work under stress, conflict manager, resilience, self-motivation. English Language level : Perfect communication with Group Colleagues to guarantee alignment with Group Strategies. Lenguage Level : English level – Bilingual C2 or at least C Competencies. Team Player. Deadline Efficient Manager. Effective English Communicator. Fast Learner. Pressure Handler.
