A software solutions provider is seeking an ERP Sales Person to drive sales efforts and build customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven B2B sales track record, particularly in selling ERP solutions. Responsibilities include identifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing customized proposals. This role can be performed remotely, but candidates should either reside in or be willing to relocate to Tijuana, Baja California. A strong consultative selling skill set is essential.

Title: ERP Sales Person

Location: Canada (Remote)

Job Type: Full time

Hours per week: 40 hr

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify leads: Proactively research and identify potential customers who could benefit from an ERP solution.

    Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision‑making authority.

  • Conduct product demonstrations: Present the features, functionalities, and benefits of the ERP software to potential customers.

    Customize demonstrations to align with the prospects' specific business requirements.

  • Understand customer needs: Engage in consultative conversations with prospects to understand their business challenges, pain points, and goals.

    Tailor the sales pitch to highlight how the ERP solution can address their specific needs.

  • Prepare proposals: Collaborate with internal teams to create customised proposals that outline the ERP solution, pricing, implementation timeline, and expected return on investment.

    Clearly articulate the value proposition of the software.

  • Negotiate and close deals: Collaborate with prospects to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and licence agreements.

    Overcome objections and close sales deals within established timelines.

Qualifications
  • Sales experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the software industry.

    Experience in selling ERP solutions or other enterprise software is a plus.

  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the target industry's business processes and challenges.

    Understanding of ERP concepts, such as supply chain management, finance, human resources, and customer relationship management.

  • Communication and presentation skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information and present product demonstrations.

    Ability to adapt the messaging to different audiences.

  • Consultative selling: Strong ability to engage in consultative conversations, actively listen to customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Relationship building: Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with customers.

    Ability to establish trust and credibility to become a trusted advisor.

  • Technical aptitude: Basic technical knowledge to understand the ERP software's functionalities and integration capabilities.

    Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

  • Goal‑oriented and self‑motivated: Driven to meet and exceed sales targets.

    Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
