A leading global investment firm seeks a sales team member based in Mexico City. You will manage business relationships with institutional clients in Mexico and the US Offshore markets, while actively participating in client events and strategy implementations. Candidates should be fluent in English and Spanish, have a major in finance or related fields, with 5-6 years of experience in the industry. The individual would be part of the Latin America and US Offshore Sales team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

The individual will contribute actively to the sales team by taking responsibility of business relationships with intermediary and institutional clients in Mexico and the US Offshore market.

The position will be based in Mexico City.

Responsibilities
  • External and internal sales team member, point person for existing and prospective clients in Mexico and the US Offshore market, such as Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Private Banks and Financial Advisors.
  • Contribute defining business plans, forecasts, strategy implementation, and execution.
  • Active interaction with MSIM investment teams within Fixed Income, Equity, Multi-Assets, and Alternative Investments, to comply with clients and prospects requests.
  • Coordinate and lead client events, road shows and meetings, as well as logistics for these initiatives.
  • Responsible for current clients' follow-ups and requests, content distribution, frequent interactions, as well as expanding coverage and diversify clients / products.
  • Maintain collaboration with team members and lead communication with other MS support areas as Reporting, Marketing, Legal, Client Services and others.
Qualifications
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Preferably major in Finance, Economics or Business related
  • 5-6 Years of industry experience
  • AMIB Figure 3 and FINRA Series 7 Certifications
  • Passion for sales, financial markets & asset management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and creative individual - takes initiative and objective oriented
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
