A global hotel management company located in Mexico City seeks a Revenue Analyst to support approximately 450 member hotels with revenue optimization and analysis. The role involves managing communications, preparing reports, and participating in consulting projects. Candidates should have a degree, English fluency, and at least two years of experience in hospitality or travel. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with expected office days twice a week.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Revenue Analyst, Preferred Revenue Optimization Services (“PROS”) serves four primary functions on behalf of Preferred Hotel Group globally: (1) Provides service to approximately 450 member hotels in the areas of CRS and distribution channel optimization and education. (2) Supports the internal regional teams through the creation of reports and analysis driving incremental revenues to the company and member hotels. (3) Actively supports PTG Consulting team with revenue and distribution consulting projects as assigned. (4) Supports Vice President Revenue Management Services with various projects.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director, Preferred Revenue Optimization Services, the Revenue Analyst, Preferred Revenue Optimization Services works with the Directors, Preferred Revenue Optimization Services; Regional Directors; Regional HRODS; and the Executive Vice President for each Region. The Revenue Analyst will also interact with the following departments on a regular basis: Data Services; Central Services; Direct Connect; Finance; Sales and Marketing departments. The PROS Team will interact with the account management team of Preferred’s provider of Central Reservations and other distribution partners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Hotel Support : Manage incoming / outgoing communications (primarily via email) with member hotels and internal customers. Conduct ongoing tactical system support as it relates to revenue management and distribution for the Preferred member hotels that are assigned to the PROS Team. This may include conducting research and analysis. Log all assignments and hours allocated.

B. Internal Departments : Work alongside Central Services, Data Services, Sales and Marketing Teams to provide analysis, research, audits, and system optimization.

C. Regional Support : Provide ongoing support to hotel regional teams, including Regional or Account Directors, and Hotel Revenue Optimization Directors (HRODS). This includes preparation of reports, execution of special projects, analysis of hotels business, and preparing Total Branded Connectivity Participation Summary Audits fully or in part.

D. Maintain Certification. Complete requirements to maintain PHR Corporate Revenue Management Certification for PROS on an annual basis.

E. PTG Consulting Projects. Assist the PTG Consulting Division with consulting projects as it relates to Revenue Management & Distribution Services, under supervision from the PTG Consulting Division. This includes reporting and analysis as driven by the specific project.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum two years hospitality or travel industry experience including on-property front office, reservations or hotel operations experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of GDS and CRS systems.
  • Excellent relationship building skills; customer service oriented; ability to manage multiple tasks; analytical ability to interpret statistical data.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a requirement.
  • Worker characteristics are normally acquired through the completion of a university degree program or related hotel / travel industry experience.
  • Completed and maintained PHR’s Corporate Revenue Management Certification. {this qualification can be waived for a new hire, with a requirement of completion with six months}.
  • Must be willing to go into office 2-days per week.
WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a hybrid-based arrangement requiring a minimum of 2-full days in the office. Contractor is seated most of the time when in the office. Travel is estimated at approximately 5% of the time as appropriate to support the overall expectation of the assignment. Expected to be available Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am – 4pm local time.
