A global leader in sustainable mobility solutions is seeking a Regional Supply Chain External Flows Leader in Monterrey, Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading supply chain operations, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring high performance through structured reviews and root cause analyses. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in automotive supply chains, 8-10 years of relevant experience, and must be bilingual in Spanish and English. This role requires frequent travel and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Formación

  • 8-10 years of experience in Automotive and/or Transportation Management.
  • Expertise in designing and managing SLAs, KPIs, and improvement plans.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; familiarity with North American cultures.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead weekly service reviews with plant leadership and operational teams.
  • Identify root causes and drive proper execution of action plans.
  • Evaluate carrier performance for Transport Purchasing team.
  • Promote process standardization and knowledge sharing.
  • Onboard new carriers onto TMS processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead structured weekly service reviews (meeting, reports, KPIs, tickets, satisfaction surveys) with plant leadership and carriers’ operational teams covering issues, bottlenecks and improvement action plan)
  • Identify root causes and design/ensure proper execution of the proper solid action plans (in TCC, carrier or plant)
  • Ensure quality and feasible Logistics Implementation Agreement (LIA) from plant/carriers and beyond that the TMS contains all required parameters from plants & carriers (Whse opening time, time slot rules) Conduct LIA health check regularly
  • Provide carrier performance evaluation for Transport Purchasing team
  • Supporting program requirements in terms of plant specific information
  • Promote process standardization, master data improvements and knowledge sharing between Plants and TCC
  • Visit & audit the plants and carrier operational yard on regular basis.
  • Onboard new carriers onto TMS processes and tools and continuously evaluate and improve their ability to support capacity, cost and service goals and TMS implementation
  • Collaborate with Transport Procurement team

Profile :

  • Supply Chain / Transport Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent professional experience in automotive industry
  • 8-10 years' experience in Automotive and/or Transportation Management with successful track record of business partner responsible for relationships with Plants and hands‑on carrier management
  • Proficiency in designing and managing SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement plans
  • Continuous methodology expertise (5 Why, root cause analysis..
  • Experience in supporting network optimization studies and VA‑VE implementation projects
  • Experience in handling change with end‑users
  • Expertise of transport operations (planning, execution, performance) and context (market dynamic, rate structure, laws and regulations like CTPAT & OEA, Carta Porte)
  • Good understanding of ERP / TMS systems & performance dashboards
  • Fluent in Spanish and English. Familiar with North America (MX, US & Canada) cultures and ways of working
  • Available to travel
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
