A leading beauty company is seeking a Merchandising Manager in Mexico to oversee site merchandising strategies for e-commerce. The role involves collaborating with local and global teams to optimize content and performance. Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in prestige e-commerce, a college degree, and be proficient in English and Spanish. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential. The Merchandising Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager, e-Commerce, LATAM on all site merchandising strategies (i.e. product display ordering, marketing touts, limited edition / coming soon / pre-order classification of products, etc).

The Manager will also be the point person for the team on all ongoing and special analysis relative to the site's performance.

This is a regional corporate function that works across brands and markets.

This position works closely with local and global online teams, regional brands and cross-functional teams i.e Design Technology Experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
LATAM Site Merchandising and Content Management
  • Detailed understanding of the LATAM Marketing Calendars (product launches, promotions, campaign priorities, selling strategies, etc).
  • Comprehensive understanding of content tools necessary to load and maintain product details and content (including but not limited to .net, Content Management Systems, etc) on site.
  • Responsible for making merchandising recommendations of all product details and content modules across online channels, at times working in concert with Design Technology Experience or Third Party Vendors to make more technical recommendations to local teams.
  • Helps to ensure markets have one site assets for New Product Launches, resupports, etc.
  • Support to create merchandising guidelines for regional campaigns.
  • Supports to ensure operational excellence.
  • Supports with maintaining global merchandising guidelines.
  • Support with .NET issues.
  • Supports SEO strategies.
  • Helps to manage translation projects with regional agency.
  • Drive regional SEO & performance optimization efforts.

Partner with affiliate online teams to identify areas of opportunity and develop action plans for content-level optimizations, and partner with regional production and global online teams on platform-level optimizations.

  • Establishing KPIs / leading indicators for new features / enhancements requests and reviewing recently-launched features for performance against KPIs.
LATAM Analytics
  • Detailed understanding of internal and third party analytics tools (including but not limited to .net, Google Analytics).
  • Point for all internal site, program, product, promotion, etc, analysis that is done either on an ongoing basis or to support special one-off requests.
  • Point Contact for all LATAM Special Analytics Projects requested of Corporate Analytics Team.
  • Maintain, deliver and at times present monthly analytics benchmark report to regional, local and global partners.
  • Maintain multi-product page creative merch windows in accordance with Brand and selling priorities.
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years experience related online experience with an emphasis in prestige e-commerce.
  • College degree required.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; prioritize and manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities.
  • Aptitude for Internet Tools (i.e. web-based reporting, databases, Content Management Systems and various multimedia technologies) and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a brand advocate and team player.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), web usability and QA testing.
  • English and Spanish speaker.
