This role demands strategic sourcing, negotiation with suppliers, and requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Formación

Job Duties

Under broad direction, may support one or more related categories as directed by Portfolio and Procurement Leadership. Implement strategic sourcing and category strategies in accordance with policies and procedures. Contribute to assessment of current market situations and identification of opportunities. Contribute to detailed planning and execution of improvement actions with users and suppliers. Negotiate with suppliers and prepare contracts and agreements under the direction of Procurement Manager. Recommend value added projects/opportunities. Coordinate training of category community and field personnel. Act as an interface between business and supplier for category, resolving issues. May represent the Procurement Manager on teams and councils, as assigned. Participate in supply chain governance and performance management activities. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Certification as a Supply Chain Professional preferred.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in activities related to national and/or international Procurement within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience working with KPIs within the Supply Chain area.
• Experience using negotiation techniques with vendors.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Reside in Villahermosa, Tabasco, or nearby areas.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
