This role involves implementing HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and extensive collaboration with operational teams. Job title: QHSE Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the following:
• Manages health and safety programs for the all Surface West field service and manufacturing hub sites in Latin America
• Participates in global HSE network and proactively engages counterparts in other businesses and regions to share learnings and best practices
• Responsible for the oversight and governance of regional HSE policies in alignment with corporate and global standards/policies to ensure compliance
• Develops, implements, maintains, and improves the HSE management system in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Oversee HSE effectiveness, strategies and improvement programs for the local business.
• Develops, monitors, and maintains safety and issue prevention policies, processes, procedures and certifications.
• Works directly with the business to understand and respond to customer HSE requirements.
• Facilitates and manages training for the local safety committee and emergency response team.
• Responsible for control of safety or environmental related documents, audits and records.
• Update written HSE programs as applicable to ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements
• Investigates HSE incidents, assesses risk and oversees corrective actions.
• Manages company policy for personal protective equipment, tools and site equipment.
• Manages and monitors any waste reduction and recycling programs.
• Acts as liaison to all applicable HSE related government agencies.
• Oversees environmental programs.
• Supports development and management of the HSE budget where required.
• Responsible for development of Health, Safety and Environmental plans and procedures for implementation during front-end engineering, engineering design, fabrication
• Maintain statistics and metrics, determine performance trends, and prepare regular reports to senior management and TechnipFMC Corporate HSE designee
• Responsible for oversite of Quality issues related to field service and API and/or ISO compliance at certified sites.
• Monitors and supports compliance with Quality reporting requirements and root cause investigation for field Quality incidents.
You are meant for this job if:
Minimum Requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English required.
• Minimum of a BS in health and safety, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years QHSES experience working in the Latin America region preferred.
• Experience managing and implementing QHSE in an industrial or field services environment.
• Solid knowledge of worker’s regulatory requirements in Latin American countries.
• Working knowledge of environmental health and safety standards (such as ISO14001, 45001, API) and best industry practices.
• Must have thorough understanding of the QHSES discipline and experience interfacing with regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge QHSE management systems and safe work operations and practices.

• Strong communication, influencing, time management, organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership qualities and ability to work in cross functional teams.
• Ability to manage teams and personnel in multiple countries and geographical regions.
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment preferred
