A leading company in electrical manufacturing is seeking a Project Manager in Queretaro. You will lead the definition and planning of a new plant, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, managing timelines and budgets, while leveraging your extensive experience in a multinational context. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in Supply Chain Management and demonstrate strong leadership in project execution.

Formación

• Minimum 8 years in a Supply Chain environment of a multinational corporation.
• Experience setting up a green field plant is an advantage.
• Fluent in Spanish and English required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead definition of the Right Scenario for the new plant.
• Make a detailed project plan for the selected scenario including resources needed.
• Manage the risk and issue resolution process.

What do you get to do in this position?

• Lead definition of the Right Scenario for the new plant
• Review business growth ambition and determine capacity needed on different product lines vs capacity available today
• Define when the new capacity must be fully available
• Define what manufacturing processes are needed to be installed and what can be sourced from other SE plants or OG suppliers
• Define the organization of Project Team and team needed to manage the plant in “run” mode

Project management

• Make a detailed project plan for the selected scenario including resources needed, project budget etc. and build & drive the project team
• Lead the project team to execute the project as per the timeline and budget defined at DO stage gate
• Make sure appropriate resources are assigned to each workstream
• Help the project team to solve the issues blocking the progress of the project
• Make sure that all the required stake holders are involved and informed as needed
• Make sure that all the mandatory processes are being followed by the project team
• Manage the risk and issue resolution process.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering
• Specialization in Management or Supply Chain Management or Project management would be an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment of a multinational corporation
• Deep understanding of ectrical switchgear manufacturing in ETO (Engineered to Order) environment would be a huge advantage
• Need experience in driving strong & successful execution of projects
• Experience to set up a green field plant is a definite advantage
• At ease in functional reporting (doted / dual line reporting) as well as hierarchical mode (direct / solid line) in large matrix organizations.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory)
