Job Description

The Python Backend Developer at Bayma Internet Servicios Comerciales, SL will be responsible for actively participating in the design and development of innovative technological solutions. Their primary role will be to implement backend functionalities accurately, securely, and efficiently, ensuring that the result faithfully meets the technical specifications defined by the client or the product team.

This professional will work from detailed technical documents, interpreting them accurately and ensuring that integrations, APIs, and databases are functioning optimally. They will also be required to anticipate potential technical issues, propose improvements when necessary, and maintain clear and proactive communication with the team to resolve any questions or issues not defined in the initial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement the functionalities defined in the specification documents, ensuring that they meet the exact requirements.
• Develop in Python with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience.
• Use .NET when the project requires it for specific integrations or functionalities.
• Manage Git for version control, ensuring proper repository management and documentation.
• Perform basic SQL queries from Python and manage relational databases.
• Integrate cloud services and APIs such as Google, WhatsApp, Telegram, payment gateways, and others, learning new integrations when necessary.
• Proactively communicate any concerns or risks that may affect compliance with technical specifications.
• Participate in technical meetings and maintain traceability of assigned tasks.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Spanish time with one hour break.

Technologies To Be Managed

• Languages: Python (minimum 1 year of experience), .NET.
• Databases: SQL as the main relational engine.
• Version control: Git (GitHub, GitLab or others).
• Integrations and APIs: Google, WhatsApp, Telegram, payment gateways.
• Cloud and Web Services: Consuming and deploying services through Web APIs.
• Collaborative environment: Remote communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Slack) and task management.

Requirements For The Position

• Python proficiency with at least 1 year of backend development experience.
• Proficient use of SQL from Python.
• Proficient use of Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Ability to integrate cloud APIs (Google, WhatsApp, Telegram, payment gateways).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and APIs.
• Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• High responsibility, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to rapid changes.
