Job Description

This role is responsible for Ensure the safety of personnel in the operation, achieve daily/weekly/monthly objectives, organize workflow, and supervise operational staff and the mechanical cable manufacturing process, ensuring the product meets specifications and delivery times required for customer satisfaction, while taking care of company equipment, facilities, and devices.

Functions and responsibilities
  • Safeguard the safety of all personnel within the plant facilities.
  • Meet business objectives.

  • Responsible for following the production schedule.
  • Ensure on-time and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational KPIs.
  • Maintain the plant organized and clean.
  • Train operational personnel.
  • Keep equipment and facilities in operational condition.
  • Ensure the safety of the personnel under their supervision.
  • Submit reports and follow-ups on performance, progress, issues, non-conformities, near misses, etc.
  • Strictly enforce company policies and guidelines.
  • Identify efficiency problems and suggest improvements.
  • Meet organizational KPIs (business indicators, continuous improvement, WBS, safety, quality, QMS, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Industrial Engineer or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in related companies or field.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
  • Knowledge of an MRP system.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (SMED, 5S, TPM, etc.).
  • Experience interacting with labor unions.

Materials and equipment used directly

  • Standard office equipment: computer, mouse, keyboard, telephone, multifunction photocopier
  • Personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and steel-toed safety shoes.
