Job Title: Product Data Analyst – Telemetry & Product-Led Growth

About The Role

As a Data Analyst within our Telemetry and Product-Led Growth team, you play a crucial role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights through analysis, reporting and dashboard creation. Your work directly influences our product and portfolio roadmap, supporting business growth through data-driven strategies.

In this role, you focus on analysis and reporting to understand user engagement across features, products, workflows, and our broader portfolio. You leverage business intelligence platforms to create impactful dashboards and reports while also contributing to the evolution of our data architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to support initiatives, collaborate with team members, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic, data-centric environment.

What You Will Do

• Conduct Product Usage Analysis: Analyze software product usage data from platforms like Gainsight PX and Amplitude to uncover insights that drive product improvements and enhance customer engagement.
• Support Data Integration Strategy: Assist in integrating diverse data sources including CRM, License Management, and Finance systems, to create a comprehensive view of our customers and product ecosystem.
• Optimize Data Workflows: Working with our colleagues in Data Ops, facilitate the capture, consolidation, and optimization of data from multiple systems, ensuring high data integrity and alignment with business strategies.
• Develop BI and AI Solutions: Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Domo and other BI tools, providing real-time product performance insights and historical trend analysis.
• Use appropriate AI and advanced analytics techniques to accelerate insight generation, improve self-service access and increase the value derived from our maturing data landscape.
• Define Strategic KPIs: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering leadership to define, measure, and evolve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with core business objectives.
• Influence Data Quality & Architecture: Work with technical and engineering teams to ensure high standards of data quality, security, and optimal data architecture.
• Identify Trends & Opportunities: Monitor and analyze data trends and usage patterns to identify opportunities for deeper investigation and strategic interventions.
• Communicate Insights: Present data insights and analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, to empower data-informed decision-making.

What Skills & Experience You Should Have

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or a similar analytical role, ideally with a focus on product-led growth analytics using platforms like Gainsight PX, Amplitude, and Pendo.
• BI Tool Expertise: Proficiency with business intelligence tools like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI for designing impactful visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
• Programming & Data Languages: Proficiency in data analysis languages and tools for complex querying and data processing.
• Analytical Translation: Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable analyses and communicate results across the organization.

• Customer Segmentation & Retention Analysis: Expertise in customer segmentation and retention analysis.
• Strategic Acumen: Familiarity with marketing, product and customer success metrics as well as product-led growth motions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to tackle complex challenges and transform them into actionable outcomes.
• Agile Environments: Experience operating in fast-paced, iterative product development environments.
