Overview : Responsibilities
  • Translate market requirements from Product Management teams to detail technical requirements for Software Engineering team.
  • Lead requirements analysis and verification to ensure requirements meet business needs, are complete, consistent, and clear.
  • Propose innovative solutions for new products or product enhancements based on gathered requirements; while working with end users, architects, product managers and Software Engineering team members to refine proposed solutions.
  • Work with end users and technology teams to analyze and prioritize product requirements into a platform backlog and assist in creating work breakdown deliverables.
  • Write and help coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and test cases and / or queries in PL / SQL to be used in functional testing and integration testing to validate and verify product performance and functionality, as well as execute test cases as needed.
  • Ensures internal customer validation of solutions by working with Product Management and key End Users.
  • Ability to process map current state efficiently, clearly, and accurately and work with BPE (Business Process Engineer) to redesign and reengineer the process.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated.
  • Facilitate process workshops, document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents.
  • Work closely with Product Managers for development and launch of new products and enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between the business end users, Product Managers and Software Development Teams.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of end user documents, training materials, and user demos.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 of experience in enterprise-level product / business analyst role.
  • Experience in product / business analysis to include creating business and functional requirement documentation.
  • Experience managing and interacting with third party technology providers and establishing processes for staying in coordination with new releases.
  • Experience developing mission-critical enterprise software and high-volume transaction systems.
  • Experience working in matrix and agile environment.
  • Excellent interviewing, listening, observational, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams across the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of web services, API's, and associated interchange formats.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in product or business analyses.
