China Three Gorges Latam, a world-leading renewable energy company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join Mexico team.

The purpose of this role is to oversee the procurement process for the company and its affiliates, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services. The Procurement Specialist will collaborate with multiple departments, manage supplier relationships, and support the implementation of best procurement practices.

Specific Duties

Procurement Plan Management

  • Consolidate and track procurement plans to ensure tasks are completed on time and with high quality.
  • Provide precise data for decision-making by closely coordinating with internal departments.

Process & Document Control

  • Develop and review procurement documents, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Manage the circulation, archiving, and ledger updates of contracts and procurement files.
  • Support audits by ensuring all documentation and processes meet legal and internal requirements.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure quality standards.
  • Coordinate supplier registration, quotations, evaluations, and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Rigorously review contracts for accuracy, validity, and compliance.

Cross-Departmental Support

  • Provide clear guidance to departments on procurement processes and remove bottlenecks.
  • Support communication flow, reporting, and internal review meetings.
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve system-related procurement issues and promote optimization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or related positions.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, project management, and document control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or ARIBA is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
