A leading manufacturing firm in Mexicali is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance plant operations by developing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, 1-3 years of experience, and knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. This role is crucial for optimizing productivity, quality, and safety in the plant.

Formación

  • 1-3 years of experience in process engineering or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

The Process Engineer will support plant operations byassisting in the development, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturingprocesses. This role focuses on optimizing productivity, quality, and safety to

achieve the plant’s operational goals.

  • Assist in the development and evaluation of process and equipment methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support on-time product delivery.
  • Conducted troubleshooting and resolved process-related issues to enhance quality, yield, and throughput.
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal equipment performance and ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of standardized production procedures and documentation, including work instructions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for operational challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
  • 1–3 years of experience in process engineering or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
