About the CDMX Team

Our Mexico City team is building powerful solutions that transform how developers experience CI/CD. Working closely with our global engineering teams, you'll join a group that values in-person collaboration while embracing hybrid flexibility. As one of our founding engineers in Mexico, you'll help establish our engineering culture and create a community where everyone belongs and thrives.

What You'll Do

• Pioneer CircleCI's engineering presence in Mexico City as a founding team member
• Create and maintain CircleCI Orbs (https://circleci.com/es/orbs/) that provide reusable configuration packages, helping thousands of development teams streamline their CI/CD pipelines
• Build and optimize Docker convenience images and full-scale machine images (Linux, Windows, macOS, Android) using Packer and Ansible, eliminating setup friction for developers worldwide
• Take ownership of our Developer Hub (https://circleci.com/developer/), ensuring it remains secure, fast, and delightful to use
• Maintain open-source repositories under CircleCI-Public (including the CircleCI CLI!), directly engaging with our developer community through GitHub
• Design solutions that scale to millions of builds while maintaining the reliability our customers depend on
• Grow your technical expertise through mentorship from senior engineers while tackling increasingly complex challenges

Who You Are

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years building production systems with DevOps practices, Golang, and microservices
• Strong experience with distributed systems in real-world production environments
• Expert-level bash and PowerShell scripting abilities
• Hands-on experience with container registry management and distribution
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS and GCP)
