We are seeking a dynamic and experienced strategic marketer to become our LATAM Digital Squad Lead. This pivotal management role is responsible for shaping and driving the digital communication strategy for Roche across Latin America. You will lead a dedicated digital team, fostering innovation and excellence in how we connect with our audiences in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned communications professional with a deep passion for digital media, a proven ability to develop robust strategies from the ground up, and the leadership skills to inspire a team and collaborate effectively across a complex, matrixed organization.
Strategic Leadership: Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive and forward-thinking digital communication strategy for the LATAM region, ensuring full alignment with both regional business objectives and global corporate guidelines.
Regional Collaboration & Planning: Partner closely with Corporate Communication Leads in each LATAM affiliate to co-create, align, and implement integrated and impactful digital communication plans.
Channel Management & Governance: Oversee the management, optimization, and governance of all regional and affiliate corporate digital channels (including websites and social media platforms), ensuring brand consistency, voice, and engagement.
Campaign & Content Excellence: Lead the ideation, development, and implementation of innovative social media campaigns and compelling digital content tailored to diverse audiences across the region.
Digital Marketing & Paid Media: Drive the strategy and execution of digital marketing and paid media campaigns to enhance brand visibility, reach key stakeholders, and achieve measurable objectives.
SEO/SEM Strategy: Define and manage the company's overarching SEO and SEM strategies to improve our online presence, discoverability, and search performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary digital communications point of contact for regional stakeholders, including Customer Experience (CX) teams, Therapeutic Area leads, and global digital counterparts, ensuring seamless collaboration and strategic alignment.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the LATAM Digital Squad, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Experience:
You have a minimum of 8-10 years of solid experience in communications, marketing with a significant focus on digital strategy and execution.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing, social media, and paid media campaigns in a corporate environment.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with a strong ability to manage and develop a team.
Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization is highly desirable.
Skills & Knowledge:
You are a strategic marketer with a deep understanding of the entire digital ecosystem, including social media platforms, content marketing, analytics, SEO, and SEM.
Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a knack for translating business goals into actionable digital strategies.
Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, build consensus, and collaborate effectively across different functions, seniority levels, and cultures.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
