About this Position

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis for 10 months. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with corporate standards and local regulations. You will work closely with HR and other business teams to support day‑to‑day operations and drive process improvements.

What you will do
  • Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, including calculations, quality checks, banking, and reporting.
  • Ensure HR practices and policies comply with corporate standards and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate HR activities and administrative tasks to support smooth daily operations and case management.
  • Maintain accurate data related to salaries, payroll taxes, and fringe allowances.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees, HR, and other business teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and participate in payroll and HR‑related projects and initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits.
What makes you a good fit
  • 2–3 years in payroll processing, including tax calculations, bonuses, benefits, and legal compliance.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws (e.g., calculation of christmas bonus, special payments, PTU) and payroll processes.
  • Ability to perform accurate calculations and validations for payroll and payments.
  • Knowledge in SAP.
  • Teamwork, HR policy compliance, personnel management, and process optimization.
