What You Will Achieve
  • Define, design and implement continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization.
  • Build and develop colleague competences to enable them to identify and execute initiatives aligned to site goals.
  • Analyze improvement programs and potential results; facilitate and coach improvement teams; establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success; and install proven excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards.
  • Guide projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements.
  • Leverage risk‑taking ability to advance new concepts and methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving.
How You Will Achieve It
  • Promote the common understanding of OpEx strategy and culture across the company.
  • Lead IMEx strategy for the site (OpEx manufacturing System for Pfizer).
  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to identify areas where OpEx/IMEx can add value to transform the company’s performance and practice of IMEx.
  • Regularly assess colleagues' OpEx and IMEx capabilities and competencies, keeping a record of it.
  • Identify training needs, build and execute programmes to close any gaps through excellence elements and tools.
  • Assure 6S/Lean projects are properly documented following established methodology: project creation, management, coaching, reporting, implementation and control in CI Loops.
  • Ensure 6S/Lean projects address site major sources of loss and are integrated into the CI Loops.
  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction on continuous improvement & IMEx, focusing on production and business process improvement.
  • Coach in principles of Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Standard Work, Coaching Skills, CI Loop, Process Robustness, Capacity planning, System Care and related areas.
  • Coach Yellow and Green Belt colleagues in the application and use of Lean‑Six Sigma.
  • Facilitate innovation workshops to solve complex problems.
  • Manage multiple moderate‑complexity projects involving cross‑functional representatives.
  • Develop and implement a Knowledge Management framework that supports end‑user requirements.
  • Assist with the Operational Excellence organisation above site and manage all site‑specific OpEx activities with guidance from leaders.
  • Develop and implement projects and cross‑functional teams to cultivate a continuous improvement mindset based on lean principles.
  • Create, organise and standardise the storage of processes, tools, training materials, templates and best practices that are current, relevant and consistent with best practice expectations.
  • Support development of a site or team Community of Practice for sharing best practices, coordinating and analysing to maximise engagement and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team culture and support Pfizer’s DEI objectives within the business unit.
  • Foster a recognition culture.
Qualifications
  • Must‑Have
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Proven leadership and change‑management abilities.
  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor colleagues.
  • Effective team‑building skills and negotiation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Yellow Belt Lean‑Six Sigma certification.
  • Advanced level English.
  • Nice‑to‑Have
  • Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience leading large projects.
  • Project‑management and continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Agile, PMP, Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean‑Six Sigma, or similar).
