• Mon - Fri, 6AM-3PM Central European Time
• Mon - Fri, 1PM-10PM Asia / Manila
• Mon - Fri, 11PM-8AM Central Standard Time

As a Mid-Level WordPress Developer / AI Specialist at Growmodo, your mission is to deliver high-quality, responsive websites while incorporating AI-driven tools to streamline development, optimize performance, and enhance user experiences. You'll work closely with designers, project managers, and senior developers to execute website builds using WordPress, with opportunities to support projects that involve automation and smart tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement: Build responsive, pixel-perfect web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
• Integrate AI Tools: Utilize AI-powered development and design tools to assist in coding, site performance optimization, and workflow automation.
• Version Control: Use GitHub to manage code changes and contribute to collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth and error-free website functionality.
• Use Page Builders: Execute projects using WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Divi.
• Optimize Performance: Support optimization efforts for speed, mobile responsiveness, and basic SEO compliance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work effectively with designers, marketers, and senior developers to bring web projects to life.

Must-Haves

• Experience: 2-4 years in WordPress development with solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
• AI Familiarity: Exposure to AI-assisted development or automation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-powered code refactoring, or AI-enhanced design tools).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver visually accurate, responsive web pages based on provided designs.
• WordPress Knowledge: Proficiency in working with WordPress themes, plugins, and major page builders like Elementor and WPBakery.
• Version Control: Experience using GitHub for code management and team collaboration.
• Problem‑Solving: Capable of troubleshooting bugs and contributing to performance improvements.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills and comfort working in a fully remote, cross-functional team.
