What you’ll be doing:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking. This is a HUNTING sales role.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, develop long-term partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction and renewals.
- Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, risk tolerance, and how best to serve them.
- Continuously Learning: Stay informed about energy industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, effectively communicating the benefits of energy products and services to potential clients, maintaining an executive presence.
- Negotiation and Closing: Address client concerns and objections skillfully to close sales and meet revenue targets.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work with internal teams such as operations and management to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with business goals.
- CRM Management: Use CRM tools like HubSpot to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.
What you’ll bring:
- Ideally reside in Monterrey, MX
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- At least 3 years of experience in the energy industry (supplier, generator, consultant, trader, etc.)
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience
- Experience in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Ability to work independently with high autonomy while embracing team-oriented sales processes, demonstrating resilience and determination
- Effective collaboration within a team and independently driving sales initiatives
- Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit
- BA/BS degree preferred
