Marketing Assistant B2C

Role Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the B2C Marketing Assistant will create and execute the overarching marketing strategy for the firm’s B2C portfolio companies. The ideal candidate is proficient in English and Spanish, creative, innovative, and able to respond quickly to market demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with marketing team, BDC leadership, B2C portfolio leaders, and external stakeholders to execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and creativity within the marketing team.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events and increase community awareness through creative and collaborative branding execution.
  • Support the development and execution of B2C marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and participation.
  • Manage the content calendar and scheduling for all social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
  • Create engaging, culturally relevant bilingual content (English & Spanish) for digital and social channels.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of paid social campaigns and media placement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and generate insights to optimize digital marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing team using tools such as Canva to produce visual assets.
  • Use social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later or Sprout Social to streamline publishing and reporting.
  • Stay current with social media trends, youth culture, and sports marketing best practices.
  • Work with Marketing Manager on public relations efforts focusing on brand promotion and reputation management.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks or opportunities related to brand reputation and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications Required
  • 3‑5 years of marketing experience in B2C environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with the sports industry or youth sports programs is highly preferred.
  • Experience with social media platforms, tools, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) and content scheduling platforms.
  • Exposure to paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self‑starter with growth mindset ready to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
