The Manager, Operations is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency by optimizing merchandise allocation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth.

This role bridges financial strategy and daily operations, ensuring that the company produces and delivers cost-effective and timely manner, while aligning with overall business goals.

This role is responsible for leading operational activities for Mexican office to fulfill the needs of the supply chain for domestic market in collaboration with internal and external partners such as finance, sales, demand planning, 3PL, carriers and customs broker.

What you will do

• Work closely with sales, demand planning and procurement to fulfill the inventory needs, considering Mexican regulation and importation requirements.
• Oversee the monitoring of importations, including NOMs and Mexican regulation compliance until the merchandise is entered to the warehouse and the inventory is registered in all systems involved.
• Container costing.
• Monitor and follow up of domestic orders preparation with the 3PL and systems until billing and credits are processed and delivered to customers in compliance with financial regulations and addendas based on customer requirements.
• Following up of any service payment from suppliers to guarantee the continuity of the services.
• Customers allowances following up and payment requirements (when applicable), working in collaboration with the finance team to guarantee payments to Jazwares MX.
• Monitor Key performance indicators to meet the billing goal and deliveries.
• Help to oversee potential issues and risk during order preparation and importations and upscale if any red flags.
• ERP and WMS management
• Inventory control monitoring levels as well as constant cycle counts to avoid loose risk or differences.
• Ensure clear communication and constant updates for each work order with internal departments : (Sr. Operations Manager, Finance and Sales, demand planning).
• Resolves issues such as delays or discrepancies in shipments.
• Establish clear communication with the 3PL, customs broker and carriers.
• Support decision-making, providing managers with actionable information, insights, reports and performance metrics to guide business strategies.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• 1+ years of leadership experience required
• Extensive knowledge of the supply chain including : Mexican regulations, Importation cycle, documentation knowledge, international and domestic logistics, distribution, reverse logistics, 3PL activities, Inventory control.
• Retailers and ecommerce knowledge is a PLUS.
• Financial aspects related to billing, credits, allowances, addendas and budget management.
• WMS and ERP knowledge.
