A global consultancy organization seeks a driven individual based in Mexico City to support Swedish companies in their international expansion. This role involves market entry strategies, developing client relationships, and contributing to a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in consulting, and be proficient in English and Spanish. Travel to the U.S. offices is expected at least 5 times a year. Formación

  • 2-5 years of experience from a Tier 1 or 2 management/strategy consulting firm.
  • Experience working in teams towards tight deadlines.
  • International experience is viewed favorably.

Responsabilidades

  • Support development of new client relationships.
  • Develop junior colleagues' consulting toolbox.

We are currently looking for a person based in Mexico City to support our strategy projects across the Americas region.

Business Sweden has a unique mandate to help Swedish companies grow global sales, and international companies invest and expand in Sweden.

We do this through trade promotion and business consulting activities.

In practice, our consulting work is similar to that of large international strategy consulting firms.

We have the same analytical approach and methods; however, we are dedicated to supporting Swedish companies' international expansion.

The type of projects we do vary greatly but includes :
  • Supporting our clients to understand local market dynamics
  • Working with account prioritization
  • Providing business development as a service
  • Identifying go-to-market partners
  • Building new services and products

Generally speaking, the goal is always to grow global sales.

What do we expect from you?

Responsibilities for you would include :
  • Contributing to growth or market entry oriented consulting projects that support Swedish companies across industries in their Americas or US expansion
  • Supporting the development of new client relationships, including identifying opportunities, developing leads, and driving the dialogue with the client
  • Developing junior colleagues consulting toolbox and supporting them in their growth journeys
  • Contributing to building a robust people-centric company culture that spans across borders

We have a strong team in place, and we set the bar high for applicants' aptitude in being a team player and not being afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Travel requirements :

This position will require you to travel regularly, primarily to our offices in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York and we expect it to be at least 5 times per year.

Background :
