Formación

Your Team Responsibilities

MSCI is seeking a Managed Services Operations Analyst as part of our Global Managed Services Operations team.

As a member of our team, this candidate will be responsible for managing, diagnosing, investigating, and resolving client’s workflows; monitoring key batches that are processed 24x7. Managed Services Operations team works with Implementation Managers, Consultants, product developers and support teams across all our regions, EMEA, Asia, and Americas; and market segments, including banks and brokerages, hedge funds, asset managers, wealth managers and pension plans. Currently, the Managed Service Operations team is present in the following locations:Monterrey, Manila and Mumbai.

Your Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should therefore be attracted to work in a global team and have acquired strong technical skills with a basic knowledge of financial risk management methods. The candidate should also be productive and creative with an ability to thrive in a global organization. Your specific roles include:

  • Manage team production and capacity planning. Identify resource availability for operations support and other production support processes.
  • Coordinate effectively with individuals/teams within the organization to ensure high quality and timely resolution of client requests/issues especially issues regarding system issues and processing delays to facilitate timely notifications.
  • Resolve issues for managed systems within SLA.
  • Mitigate the impact of disruptions through proactive handling and communication
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholders via phone, email and ticket tracking system and be the forefront representing the team on client engagement
  • Monitor alerts and status of servers, jobs execution in Unix/Linux and Windows environment.
  • Liaison/Training with backup teams in other geographical locations to provide continuity of service in the event of local issues.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, and other related courses.
  • Good communication skills with experience in both internal & external client communications
  • Minimum of 1 years work experience in an Operations or Application support environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving decision-making skills
  • Must be willing to work on holidays
  • Scripting knowledge in SQL, Perl and Python is an advantage
  • Experience with Python, Autosys, Airflow and version control(Git).
  • Experience in Dev Ops and/or Agile Methodology in Project Management is a plus
