A leading industrial firm in Nuevo Laredo is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician with at least 3 years of experience. You will manage work orders, perform various repairs, and oversee maintenance tasks including HVAC and plumbing. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for overtime is essential.

Formación

• At least 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems.
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks including light bulb replacements and door repairs.
• Oversee minor renovation projects and manage inventory.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis
• Perform repairs and facility support tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.
• Perform carpentry duties such as painting, caulking, installing drywall, and installing shelving.
• Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.
• Oversee projects as assigned. Projects will include minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.
