A recruitment consultancy in renewable energy is seeking an M&A Analyst to identify and execute merger and acquisition opportunities in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a major in finance or related fields, 1-2 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. Key responsibilities include conducting financial analyses, assisting in pitch preparation, and negotiating transactions. The role requires fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The M&A Analyst will play a key role in leading the identification, evaluation, and execution of merger and acquisition opportunities in the field of renewable energy. The candidate will join the M&A Department responsible for origination through to investment execution in Mexico and the rest of Latam.
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate potential M&A opportunities, including performing valuation analyses, such as DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other presentation materials for client meetings and internal discussions.
Attend internal meetings with the M&A team and external meetings with clients, advisors, and potential targets.
Assist in the negotiation and structuring of M&A transactions, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents and agreements.
Coordinate with legal, tax, and other advisors to ensure a smooth and timely execution of transactions.
