A leading energy infrastructure company in Mexico seeks a legal expert with at least 8 years experience in commercial and financial law, particularly in the energy sector. You will provide legal advice, assist in structuring financing projects, and collaborate with internal teams. Strong fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position, which emphasizes excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Formación

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial and financial law.

Responsibilities

• Legal advice on complex matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, financial, commercial and business development.
• Assist in the legal structuring of financing projects, including risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and contractual documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Support the Legal team in Mexico on cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes that may impact the company’s operations.

Qualifications

• Law degree; license to practice law in Mexico.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial and financial law, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, financing structures, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
