An innovative technology company in Mexicali is looking for an experienced finance professional to support the accounting and month-end close process for multiple entities. The role involves P&L variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, as well as advanced English proficiency.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Significant knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Strong technical knowledge of finance systems.

Overview

This role supports the accounting and month-end close process for multiple U.S. entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. The position provides analyses and backup across departments as needed and ensures proper SAP/HFM tie-outs, and maintains SOPs for recurring processes.

• Provide analyses or backup to Corporate and other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• English (advanced)
• Significant knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Significant controllership experience
• Strong technical knowledge of finance systems (SAP, HFM)
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is a plus
• Experience in Big 4 or mid-size tax advisory firm
• Self-motivated, driving business initiatives
