Design Engineer for Automotive Interiors

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team.

As a Junior Interior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating 2D / 3D interior component designs using Siemens NX, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and quality throughout the design process.

In this role, you will work under supervision while gaining expertise in plastic materials, injection molding, GD&T, and DFM.

A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Experience in both electrical and plastic design is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update 2D / 3D interior component designs using Siemens NX.
• Assist in the creation and revision of Bills of Materials and documentation.
• Support design reviews, integration forums, and cross-functional discussions.
• Evaluate data integrity across CAD tools and manage change-control processes.
• Run basic structural evaluations using Altair's SimSolid (CAE).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Experience in plastic and electrical component design.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX (3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies).
• Basic knowledge of materials, injection molding, GD&T, and DFM.
• Familiarity with CAE tools (SimSolid preferred).
• Internship or experience with GM is a plus.
• Minimum B2 English level.
