A global automotive company in Mexico is seeking an experienced engineer to manage engineering changes in manufacturing. Responsibilities include ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction, along with coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, along with knowledge of automotive standards and advanced English skills.

Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of metrology and GD&T interpretation.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement and manage engineering changes in product manufacturing.
  • Coordinate the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely completion of changes.
  • Oversee the engineering change process through internal systems.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Implement and manage engineering changes requested by internal or external customers in product manufacturing, ensuring timely, proper, and cost-effective execution to meet their needs.
  2. Coordinate the multidisciplinary team involved in engineering changes to ensure they are completed on time and satisfactorily, achieving customer satisfaction.
  3. Implement and oversee the engineering change process through internal systems to guarantee successful change implementation.

Required Experience and Education

  • Engineering degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role

Technical Knowledge

  • Automotive standards and specifications
  • Core Tools (PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA)
  • Basic knowledge of Unigraphics and metrology
  • GD&T interpretation, weld study, mathematical models (Math Data)
  • Quotation knowledge
  • BOM management
  • Relevant SAP modules
  • IMDS
  • Procedures, instructions, and formats applicable to the area
