Responsabilidades

• Analyze and improve manufacturing workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tooling to support production operations.
• Provide technical support to resolve production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining product quality.
• Support to production, QA, Planning in daily work.

Job Overview

We are looking for the next Manufacturing Engineer to join the Hubbell family.

A Day In The Life

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance production capabilities, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
• Equipment & Tooling: Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tooling to support production operations.
• Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Cost Reduction: Analyze manufacturing costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining product quality.
• Implementation of 5S activities and Safety improvements in the area.
• Support to production, QA, Planning in daily work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial)
• Solid knowledge in Metal Mechanic Industry.
• Solid knowledge in manufacturing process.
• Problem solving skills.
• Experience transferring products and full facilities.
• Capacity analysis.
• Advance knowledge on line balancing and time study.
• CAD 3D environment is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing tools (SMED, TPM, 5’s, VSM).
• Knowledge in MS Office.
• Print interpretation.
• SAP Knowledge (BOM‑Routing).
• English >75%.
