A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to drive quality improvements and process control within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, and expertise in Statistical Process Control and continuous improvement techniques. This role includes evaluating workflows, developing layouts, and training suppliers to ensure quality standards.

Formación

  • 8 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in driving Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
  • Familiarity with Supplier Quality and Quality Systems.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform and evaluate work measurement and workflow analysis.
  • Develop plant and equipment layout and capacity plans.

Industrial Engineer: Performs and evaluates work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities. Develops plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities. Provides product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.

JOB DESCRIPTOR
  • Using the Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Quality Process (AQP) tools and the Metrics, proactively identify and help implement improvement to the Supplier Quality and Supplier Quality Tools and Processes
  • Promote the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement techniques at Suppliers to help them reduce variability and achieve process control
  • Train Suppliers to effectively execute Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Initiate and follow-up Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR) in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Responsible for driving the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process for all Suppliers and CM’s working with the Newark Facility
  • Perform periodic audits of Supplier Quality Systems for the purpose of assuring continued Supplier conformance to the quality system requirements.
